Dude, She Doesn't Want You

Guys, if your girlfriend has a best friend that happens to be a dude, you need not worry -- she's not into him.
On the other hand, that guy may be into HER. The study found that men were more often attracted to their female friends than the other way around. Guys also incorrectly thought that their female friend had a fantasy of hooking up. Not true.

Even worse, if a guy has a little crush on his best friend of the opposite sex, that doesn't seem to go away when he enters another relationship. If she has a crush on her bf of the opposite sex, that totally fades away once she gets in an outside relationship.

Here are the results from a survey of 500 married couples on the secret to a happy marriage -- and most of them go up against conventional wisdom.

1. Don't communicate. A successful marriage relies on two people that listen and empathize, no constantly try and be right. You don't have to agree, but you do need to see it from their point of view
2. Go to bed angry sometimes. Sometimes you need time to consider things, that's what the bed break can do. 
3. Watch what you say. Pick your words carefully when you're with each other and when you're around others. Relationships can be defined by what you say about your partner to others when they are out of the room
4. Forget date night, it's all about hotel room lovin'! Just grab a meal and then head back to the hotel
5. The little things count. Small actions like calling for no reason, or lipstick messages on the mirror, are what count.
6. Disconnect. Stop texting when you're talking to your sweetie.

From the "Center of Obvious Science," men fall asleep after sex because their brains naturally shut down. A French medical research team scanned the male brain before and after "the act," and discovered the cerebral cortex, or thinking area, shuts down. A surge of chemicals, such as oxytocin and serotonin push the brain into sleep mode. Not surprisingly, they found the same effect is not found in women.
