Personal

For some reason, I've been feeling nostalgic lately for old airchecks from the radio Gods that inspired me to do what I'm doing now. Here's one from one of the greatest morning hosts of all time - Dick Purtan in Detroit. This is from 1988 at Z95.5

Dick is now retired, but has continued cracking me up during his weekly podcast.  Check him out here

Who is your favorite? Do they have a video I can post? Let me know:email

Record Bridal Gown --

Kim Kardashian just found a reason to get married again!  A Romanian design house made a bridal dress with a 2-mile long train.  Yes, 2 miles long.  So long it took a hot air balloon to pick up and carry the model wearing the dress across the city.  The record shattered one set in The Netherlands, which was obviously a half-heart effort at just over a mile long.  There is video to prove it happened here

5 Super Honest Dating Tips From Men

Do you want to have fun on your date?  Then only listen to advice from men, says Aunt Becky on thestir.  Here are five tips to get you started

Be honest -- Men prefer it when women say what they mean -- and mean what they say.

Be upfront about yourself --  You want kids? Okay. You don't? Okay. You want to get married someday? Okay. But men prefer to know things about you upfront rather than have to play the guessing game later.

If you dress provocatively, you're not going to pick up a nice guy. You don't have to do it up all Little House on the Prairie style, but if you're one gust of wind away from a "wardrobe malfunction," you're doing it wrong.

You're not going to change him, Girlfriend. If you don't like his habits, his hygiene, his friends, his family, or his style, let him go. It's absolutely absurd to assume that someone else should change his ways for you. He shouldn't have to change for you. Likewise, you shouldn't have to change for him.

If a dude only wants you for sex -- not dating or talking -- remember that there are guys out there that would love to have a meaningful discussion with you. They'd love to date you, not just have sex with you. So ditch The Player, Sister, and move onto better pastures.

Joke of the Day

A woman was sleeping in her bed when her husband crashing through the front door at 3 am and woke her up. He staggered and tried to get up the stairs, " what are you doing" she shouted.  The husband replies " I’m trying to get a gallon of beer up the stairs."

"Leave it down there" she bellowed

"I cant" he replied " I drunk it".

Have a great weekend!
