Gotta See This!
Awesome waterspout near Carolina Beach, NC, yesterday. Dangerous weather is fun... when it's over the water.
Joke of the Day
An elderly man owned a large property for several years and had a dam where he planted mango and avocado trees. The dam was fixed up for swimming when it was built. One evening the old farmer decided to go down to the dam to look it over, as he hadn't been there for a while. He grabbed a bucket to bring back some fruit. As he neared the dam, he heard voices shouting and laughing with glee. As he came closer he saw it was a bunch of beautiful young women skinny-dipping in his dam. He made the women aware of his presence and they all went to the deep end.One of the women shouted to him: "We're not coming out until you leave!"
The old man frowned: "I didn't come down here to watch you ladies swim naked or make you get out of the dam naked," he said, holding the bucket high in the air. "I'm here to feed the crocodile."
Moral: Old men may walk slow, but they can still think fast.
This and That
No, Dude, She Didn't Love You At First Sight!
I discovered that women are just being polite when they say "it was love at first sight," because it ain't true, according to a recent study. 20% of guys admitted to falling in love at first sight, with half of them saying they were head over heels in love after just one meeting. Women, on the other hand, not so much. Only 10% admit to falling in love at first sight, and for most it took six dates to determine whether or not it was the real thing!
What's the difference? Men throw most of their first impressions on looks, where women are more deliberate across the board.
Interesting: The average dude claims to have fallen in love three times. The average women: Once.
