Toddlers, Tiaras and CRAZY MOMS!
Watch this 5-year old go through something that makes even adults scream -- an eyebrow wax. During the TLC show "Toddlers and Tiaras," this 5-year old is forced to get her eyebrows and sensitive skin ripped off by hot wax. Not even a bag of suckers as a reward will stop the girl from screaming.

Tell me I'm not alone on this. There are some things that can wait, right? What else are we forcing kids to go through too early?

Baby time: Miranda Kerr confirmed through her website that, yes, she did indeed have a boy on January 6th with Orando Bloom. "I gave birth to him naturally; without any pain medication and it was a long, arduous and difficult labour, but Orlando was with me the whole time supporting and guiding me through it. I could not have done it without him," she adds. And then she attached this pic.

Pushing product: Susan Sarandon's "Got Milk" ad is out with the familiar "milk moustache." She tells People.com that she drinks light milk as "often as I can," and it was a "no brainer" joining the campaign.

Sad: Bradley Cooper's dad died. Charles Cooper passed away over the weekend after a long illness. He was 71. Renee Zellweger pulled out of the Golden Globes at the last moment to be with her boyfriend.

Jerk: Paul Giamatti, after winning a Golden Globe for Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture, charged two people five bucks a piece to snap a photo with him holding the trophy.

Leaving: Regis Philbin made a surprise announcement yesterday -- he's leaving "Live!" His last show will be sometime in late 2011.

Did You Know...

...that moms are lying machines? According to a survey of 5,000 moms, two-thirds lie to other mom's about a variety of issues including:

  • How well they're coping
  • Financial worries
  • How much TV their kids watch
  • How much time they spend with the kids
  • Napping!

Sociologist Frank Furedi says parents are under heavy pressure from society to be the perfect. He says it "incites parents to lie and to turn child-rearing into a performance." More here

Joke of the Day

A married couple was celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary. At the party everybody wanted to know how they managed to stay married so long in this day and age. The husband responded "When we were first married we came to an agreement. I would make all the major decisions and my wife would make all the minor decisions.

And in 60 years of marriage we have never needed to make a major decision."
