There was a man driving a pickup truck down a country road, when suddenly he was broad sided by a trailer truck. Some time went by, and the case got to court.

The defense attorney said to the plaintiff, "How can you be suing my client now when you told a trooper after the accident that you felt fine?"

The man replied, "Well sir, it was like this. We was drivin' down the road, mindin' our own business, when a big trailer truck came out of nowhere and creamed us. When I came to, I was in the ditch, and a trooper was pullin' up with his car.

He looked at the hogs, and they was 'most dead, so he shot 'em. Then he looked at my dog, and he was hurt real bad, so he shot him. Then he came over to me and he said, 'How you feeling?'" "

I said, I never felt better in my life."

There's something about a good old fashion deep freeze that makes us hate a good old fashion deep freeze. So here are five tropical getaways that are not completely out of your means...

  1. Cancun - Mexico is an incredible deal right now
  2. Jamaica - The current exchange rate is killer. 1 US dollar equals 92.63 Jamaican dollars.
  3. Dominican Republic - The big draw here are the new all-inclusive resorts
  4. Puerto Rico - Quick jump from the U.S. with something for everyone from lavish resorts to budget inns. Plus, they use U.S. currency so you don't have to exchange your cash.
  5. Aruba - There are several budget-friendly resorts and hotels on the island.

Foods you can't buy anywhere anymore

There are some foods even Donald Trump can't have shipped in because they're gone. Can you say Twinkie?

Here are five other foods that once graced the grocery store shelves but are now history:

  1. Chef Boy-Ar-Dee Meat Ball Stew! Mmm mmmmm! 12 juicy meat balls with peas, carrots, potatoes and brown gravy. All stuffed in a can! How can you go wrong here!Picture

  2. Crystal Pepsi It was a caffeine-free "clear alternative" to other colas. It was pulled from the shelves in 1993 after only one year.

  3. Tato Skins Keebler's 'potato chips'. Nope, I don't remember them either. They did exist, though. Watch

  4. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Cereal The Turtles were magic in the 90's.

The worst thing ever for your relationship is...

...even worse than Facebook! The worse thing for your relationship is the lack of sleep! A study suggests that the lack of sleep tends to prioritize ourselves over our partner and become complete jerks. We forget the little things, like saying "thank you." The study, out of UC Berkeley found that if "you slept like a baby, but your partner didn't, you'll probably both end up grouchy." Source

    Funnies...

    From the great JokesByJim blog...

Prince Harry says he prefers being in a war zone to dealing with tabloid sniping. Of course, he doesn’t have to deal with the tabloids in a war zone because he usually keeps his clothes on there.

Chase and PNC banks will start giving out $1 and $5 bills from their ATMs. Which means if you take out $1 you will have to put back $3 to cover the transaction fee.

A website allows brides to sell their weddings if they are canceled. Kim Kardashian is trying to see if she can get on to sell one slightly used marriage.

A website says the Ford Edge is the cheapest vehicle to insure. Mostly because no self respecting thief is going to be caught dead driving around in a Ford Edge.

Atari has filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy. Apparently sales of Pong have dropped dramatically since 1981.

A study says that snowboarding is linked to increased injuries on ski slopes. Most likely from skiers tripping them with their poles as they go by.

A study says that people are most likely to miss a doctor’s appointment on Monday. Especially if they have been waiting in the lobby to see the doctor since Friday.
