A biology teacher wished to demonstrate to his students the harmful effects of alcohol on living organisms. For his experiment, he showed them a beaker with pond water in which there was a thriving civilization of worms. When he added some alcohol into the beaker the worms doubled-up and died.
"Now," he said,” what do you learn from this?"
An eager student gave his answer.
"Well the answer is obvious," he said " if you drink alcohol, you'll never have worms."


Dirty, Dirty City


What city is down right dirty and rude?  Travel and Leisure magazine asked people which city they would label as "filthy," and NYC tops the list.  The honor was given to the city because of their flourishing rat population, the funky odors, and their heaps of trash.

New York also took top spot for being the loudest and rudest city in the country.

Wow, That Thucks!


An 8 year old Georgia girl is recovering this morning after getting her tongue jammed inside a water bottle!  Jayla Small was at cheerleading practice when she took a drink from the bottle.  That's when her tongue got stuck.  Her coaches tried to pull it free, but when they couldn't, they called 911.

Doctors were left scratching their heads while trying everything from cutting holes in the bottle to cutting the bottom clean off.

She was finally rushed into surgery after her tongue started swelling. pushing the bottle into the back of her throat.  It took an hour to finally free her.

The bottle is metal with a small opening, and Jayla's mom is warning other parents to stay away from bottles young kids can't handle.
