Do bullies snore?  An interesting study found kids with "sleep-disorder breathing," meaning snoring, mouth-breathing, or sleep apnea (translation: they sound like your husband), were more likely to have behavioral problems by age 4.  By 7, they were 1.5 times more likely to be hyperactive.  Higher rates of depression, anxiety and aggression were also detected.  Further research is being done to determine if removing their tonsils or adnoids could solve the problem.  Source


The clock is ticking for the necktie.  74% of British workers believe the necktie will be unnecessary within 50 years.  With a growing number of people working from home, and "casual Friday's" turning into "casual Monday through Friday's," most workers feel it's time to keep the collar open.  Source

Holy Pixie Sticks!  Our children's teeth are getting so bad that kids as young as 2 are getting root canals!  The NY Times watched a kid go through the procedure because 11 of his 20 baby teeth had cavities.  Is it really getting that bad?  Unfortunately, yes.  Dentists are seeing more preschoolers at all income levels with 6 to 10 cavities or more.  Some of these kids are being given general anesthesia because children that young are unlikely to sit through such extensive procedures while awake.  "Janine Costantini, the ambulatory practice director at Children's Hospital Colorado, said the staff treated a 3-year-old who was making his second visit to the operating room for dental work. 5 Myths You Shouldn't Believe about Sex & Cheating

From a team of psychotherapists and counselors, here are few myths about what really breaks us up, and it isn't the cheating... in fact, the top myth is...

#1 Infidelity is the #1 reason couples break up.  Nope.  In a survey, couples didn't cite the cheating, but simple "communication issues" that tore them apart.  "Loss of intimacy" was second, followed by "infidelity".  

#2 The top two topics couples fight about are sex and money. Wrong.  The actual reason is one or both parties don't feel "important or valued  by the other."  Communication problems ranked second, followed by money in third place.

#3 Therapy takes years to work. In reality, the survey revealed most clients, on average, start to see improvements in 4-10 sessions.

#4   Infidelity almost always leads to a divorce or breakup. Not true.  If couples can work out the communication issue, there is a chance to save the relationship.

#5  Couples are most likely to cheat after being together for years—when boredom hits. Not so! In fact, the riskiest stretch for couples is the three-to-five year period in a relationship, as 40 percent of experts said this is the time where partners are most likely to cheat
