Flashback: It was on this day Richard Hatch won the first U.S. season of Survivor and took away the $1-million grand prize. What year?

2000, 2002, 2004?

Answer

2000! Of course, Hatch has been in and out of prison for failing to pay taxes on that prize. Best part of that first season of Survivor -- hands down, Sue's famous Rat and Snake speech. Watch (forward to 2:57)

Would it have killed Rich to put on some trousers at some point during the game? Watch

This and That

Traveler's Pet Peves

From MSNBC.com, here's a top 10 list of things that really, really bug frequent fliers.

10 Carry-on baggage offenses (Too many bags, oversized bags, arguing when attendants insist you check them, etc)

9a Chattiness
9b Strangers who will be visiting your hometown soon ("I'll give you a call!")

8 Seat etiquette (share the armrest, please)

7 First class staring at the rabble (First classers - stop scowling at everyone trying to make their way to the back of the plane)

6 Flying with pets (Don't let your cat crawl across everyone in flight)

5 Asking favors ("mind if we switch seats?" "Do you need your extra pillow?" "Can I use your headset?")

4a Poor planning, terrible timing (walking around when the flight attendents are carting food in the aisle; getting their magazine out of the overhead just as you're falling asleep)
4b Jumping up as soon as the plane reaches the gate

3 Workaholic habits (Just because you're working, doesn't mean you can take over half of the next seat, too)

2 Any-aholic behavior (fueling up at the bar before the flight)

1 Traveling while sick
