Stress Upon Stress!
A BabyCenter.com poll finds that 94% of moms say they feel guilty. Over what? You name it -- Working, money, using formula, not eating organic, etc...
A Today Show expert explains that women are more susceptible to guilt than men because women are more "interpersonally sensitive," meaning they constantly evaluate whether or not they're morally on track. The superego part of the brain evaluates whether they're succeeding or failing as parents, wives and professionals.
Here are five steps to ease the guilt, mom!
- Take time for yourself.
- Reward yourself for a job well done.
- Develop a support system that nurtures your spirit.
- Think about whether your guilt is founded in truth or overly high expectations of yourself.
- Don’t dwell on mistakes, just change them.

Frustrated with the lack of progress, the Pope then switches places with his driver and takes the wheel. Their car is pulled over for speeding and the arresting officer radios in to the sergeant to find out what to do with such an important person.
His sergeant asks: "Just how important is he?"
"I don't know," replies the cop: "But he's got the Pope as his driver."
