Mom and Dad Are Sexting

Just when you thought sexting was for naive high schoolers just asking for trouble, it turns out it's pretty popular with their mom and dad, too! A mobile safety company called Lookout discovered that 18% of American smartphone owners send sexy text messages. 1 in 5 moms and dads with kids under 18 send saucy messages to each other (at least we think the messages are to each other).

They survey also discovered that 11% of Americans have recorded an explicit video on their phones -- 5% of moms, and 18% of dads have done so.

And 69% of us admit we have lost our phone, but only 3% say our biggest concern about losing our phone would be people finding our dirty pictures and messages.

Steer Clear of Teens

If you see a teenager behind the wheel, keep your distance, because there's a good chance they're texting someone. 1 in 3 teens in high school admit that driving a car does not keep them from texting or sending an email.

The survey results came out a day after a Massachusetts teen was sentenced to a year in prison for causing an accident that killed a 56-year old man. Aaron Deveau was texting at the time he caused the fatal wreck.

Summer Travel Tip: Buying Airline Tickets

Airline tickets continue to rise, but you can still get a good deal for your summer vacation. Knowing WHEN to buy is the key to saving big. An airfare expert at Jetsetter passes along these tips for getting the best deal on airfare:

Shop on Tuesday mornings: Fare sales usually launch on Monday nights, so other airlines match prices by Tuesday morning

Search how full the flight is: Start to buy your tickets online and "choose your seat." That will show you how many seats are taken already

Remember, it's a gamble: When in doubt, booking early is safer. If you wait, fares could shoot up or down, and usually go up more than they go down.

Use online tools: Kayak's "Hacker" tool can help you find two separate one-way flights to save more money on a round trip. They also offer a fare chart to spot the trend in ticket prices.

Follow airlines: Use Facebook and Twitter to follow airlines for a good deal

Consider a destination serviced by a low cost carrier: AirTran, Southwest, and Frontier all drive down airfares along their routes. It makes sense to drive longer to a bigger airport with low-cost carriers since even major carriers' flights will likely be cheaper.
