3 Myths About Cheaters

YourTango.com asked 100 experts to clear up some longstanding myths behind infidelity. They wanted to know what we all want to know:

1. Who cheats
2. Why do they cheat
3. Is a cheater always a cheater

Myth 1: Men cheat more than women. 49% of the experts believe that, yes, men cheat more than women. But 47% agree that women are just as likely to sneak around behind their man's back.

Myth 2: Once a cheater, always a cheater: 81% of their experts say this is absolutely UNtrue.

Myth 3: When you cheat, be honest about it. A majority of experts, 57%, say that when someone has been unfaithful, it isn't always best for him or her to tell his/her partner. Main reason: If the cheater knows that they will never head down that path again, and instead want to work on their current relationship and make it better, then telling their partner may be unnecessary.

What Would You Give Up for Sex

A new survey discovered that 43% of men would give up sex in order to keep their jobs. Now if that's not a sign of the times, I don't know what is. The Daily Mail rounded up other things science has told us we might choose over sex:

• A better body: 68% of women would give up sex for a month for the perfect bikini body
• Their iPhone: 15% would give up sex rather than spend a weekend away from their iPhone.
• A good night's sleep: 12% would ditch sex for better sleep
• Facebook: 20% of women would give up sex for a week rather than go without Facebook.
• Internet access: 21% of us would give up sex rather than give up our Internet access for a year.
• Studying textbook-free: 25% of college students would give up sex for a year in order to stop lugging around heavy books
• Their favorite food: 75% of people would choose their favorite food over sex (oh, come on, we all have something we'd choose...what is it?)

Women dig brunettes! Straight women were asked which female celebrity they would be most tempted to kiss...and the top four are brunettes. Check if your secret fav' is in the top 10:

Here are some other interesting findings from the survey:

• 51% of straight women admitted to passionately kissing another woman
• 37% said they were drunk at the time
• 25% said they were just curious
• 60% have been attracted to another female at some point in their lives
• Believe it or not, it's not those crazy college years that lead to the "curiosity," it's women between 32 and 52 years old, followed by women 18 to 30.
