5 Secrets of Super Successful People
The difference between good and great is not your level of education, according to the HybridMom blog, but the mindset you bring to everything, especially your interactions with others. Superstars "think differently," and here are their secrets to success:
1 Superstars hold two agendas in their mind at the same time, meaning they go into situations not only focused on THEIR goals, but the goals of the other person, as well.
2 Superstars can sit with uncertainty. They know they'll close the deal, but are "not attached to having it play out in a certain way." Mediocre people want things to go according to script.
3 Superstars think backwards. Many people ask how others can help them solve or accomplish goals, while superstars reverse it, and wonder how they can be helpful to others.
4 Superstars define success differently. Instead of looking at people as roadblocks, superstars try and create success for everyone.
5 Superstars show up with love, meaning when they're with you, they're FULLY with you.

TV's 5 Worst Role Models for Kids
How Common Sense Media could narrow it down to a top five is beyond me, but here's the worst of the worst when young eyes are in the room:
- Snooki - Jersey Shore "Not only is she not the brightest bulb in the bunch, but she drinks constantly and to excess. And while her drinking sometimes gets her arrested or leads to iffy sexual behavior, she gets lots of attention (and a big paycheck) for her antics."
- Tony (James Newman) - Skins "He sleeps with every hot girl in sight, all the while stringing along his girlfriend and trying to get his friends to follow in his sleazy footsteps."
- Kim Kardashian - Keeping Up with the Kardashians " Kim and her sisters are the ultimate celebrity role models with nothing worth copying."
- Goku and Gohan - Dragon Ball Z Kai " they solve their problems with violence -- including hand-to-hand combat, superhuman powers, and guns. And their shows are marketed toward kids as young as 7, who are just learning to distinguish reality from fantasy."
- Tyra Banks - America's Next Top Model "she continues to reinforce ultra-thin physical standards and showcase backstabbing behavior on her show."
Gotta See This
He likes Katy Perry. He likes Katy Perry a lot.
Did You Know...
...that 15% of divorces are the result of his obsession with video games? Videogames are the new homewrecker! The study, conducted by Divorce Online found 15% of the women who cite "unreasonable behavior" as the cause for their divorce blame videogames. That's up 10% from the previous year! They say their husbands are more interested in spending time with their games than with them.
The top two divorce-causing games: World of Warcraft and Call of Duty.
One woman said her husband would play up to eight hours a day. He didn't think it was a problem until she left. By then it was too late.

"Five bucks, sir."
"And how much for my suitcase?"
"No charge for the suitcase, sir."
"Okay. Take the case and I'll walk."

It's App Tuesday (on Wednesday!), and today we've got an app for both the iPhone and Android that will pull the curtain back on those mysterious numbers popping up on your mobile phone. NumberGuru is free and offers an unlimited number of lookups. It has apparently indexed 90% of landlines and 50% of cell numbers.
