What folks are Googlin' this morning

"jersey shore season 2 episode 1"

The Jersey Shore troublemakers are back -- but this time they escaped the wintry northeast with a move to Florida.  Why?  As Pauly D so appropriately put it, "you can't get tan in this weather, you can't creep in this weather, you can't do anything."

Line of the night:  When Pauly D and The Situation get stuck in the mud, they call Triple-A to help them out.  When the Triple-A truck arrives, it too gets stuck in the mud, leading to this thought from The Situation:  “Who Does AAA call when AAA gets stuck?”

"project runway season 8 premiere episode"

Ever make a crazy promise or request after throwing a few too many back?

Big thumbs up to Norm Eshleman out of Russell, Ontario, who donated bone marrow, saving the life of Stephanie Wellman.  Eshleman made the promise to donate bone marrow 20-years ago should a match ever come up.  15-years later he got a call.  He and Wellman, suffering with Leukemia, were a 100% match.

Here's the problem -- Eshleman doesn't remember making the promise, because he was, by his own admission, drunk the night he visited the hospital following a fight.  He decided, though, that since he made the commitment, he'd follow through with it.  Stephanie survived and recently contacted Norm to say thank-you.

A party was thrown in his honor at the local.. yes... pub.

Have you ever hurt someone's feelings because you didn't invite their...dog?

This is amazing.  Are we humanizing our dogs a tad too much, maybe?  Check out this article that found people who were offended when they were invited to a party, but their dogs weren't.

Amy is a Cambridge, Mass, massage therapist who refused to go to a World Cup party after the host ignored messages from Amy asking if her 7-month-old lab-hound mix could come, too.

Lauren, an event planner, is ticked at a friend who wouldn't let her dog tag along on a beach weekend on the Jersey shore.   “She said the dogs would never stop playing and it would be annoying."  Lauren said no to the weekend.

Emery Robinson got her feelings hurt when her boyfriend's parents did not invite her 80 pound pooch to a weekend barbecue.  “Your dog is an extension of yourself," she says.

So where do we stand on this?  Are dogs like children to some people, and if children are invited, so should dogs?
