What folks are searchin' for this morning
"travis garland" - Travis Garland is the #1 search this morning, and since it's Thursday, you know it has to be because of American Idol. He performed "his hit single 'Believe' last night". 20-year old Garland used to be part of the boy band NLT, or "Not Like Them." Kevin McHale used to be a member, too, and now he's on the hit show "Glee" playing Artie. Believe it or not, "Believe" was actually written by Jessica Simpson. See his performance here
"american idol top 2" - There were three -- until Casey James got the boot. And then there were two: Your final battle on American Idol will see Lee DeWyze vs. Crystal Bowersox.
"weiner facts"- Huh? Why are people Googling "weiner facts"? Is it to make hot dogs at home? Nope... Weiner facts on weinerfacts.com is the brainchild of Glenn Beck. The site is dedicated to 'exposing' New York Representative Anthony Weiner after he accused Beck and Goldline (the sponsor of his show) of "running a racket" and "ripping off customers." Check out WeinerFacts.com here
"how old is justin bieber" - Justin Bieber is 16. Okay? Any other questions? No, I don't know why he's so famous. Here he is on American Idol last night.

What did your company decide it later wanted back?
About 180 county employees in suburban Atlanta are scratching their heads this morning. Their employer, Gwinnett County, handed them bonuses by mistake and it now wants the money back. The employees think it's pretty unfair, especially since this bonus money was part of a paycheck issued in...wait for it... in 1994! Yes, that would be 16 years ago. Gwinnett County has offered employees one of two options -- pay it back in cash, or give up some vacation time.
"Boy, I wish my kid didn't see that..."
A Flint, Michigan woman was fired for taking her child to work...on Take Your Child to Work Day. Not only was she fired, but she was fired on THAT day right in front of her child. Qwerda Evans said her daughter wanted to see what she did for a living, and since another employee brought her kid to work a few months before, she thought it would be okay. But the company has a policy prohibiting friends and family at work, and she violated that policy.... see ya. Yikes. That's cold.
What's the worst thing you ever witnessed someone doing while driving?

- 28% confirmed they text while driving
- 25% admitted to changing clothes while driving, whereas much fewer (5%) have shaved while behind the wheel
- 13% reported they apply make up while driving
- 10% also reported reading newspapers or magazines while driving
- 5% confessed to playing video games, while even more (12%) admitted to writing or reading emails while driving

Post this: What's the most money you've ever spent for a piece of clothing (yes, shoes included)?
CELEBRITY TWEETS

Think about this number: $10 million. No, that's not a government bail out program, that's the money spent on JUST CLOTHING for "Sex and the City 2!" Here are a few "over the top" examples to look out for:
- While the girls are doing karaoki in Abu Dhabi, Carrie wears $4,000 embellished Blonds jeans under a $47,190 silver and gold Chanel lamé dress, and Samantha wears a $5,000 spiked blazer.
- In other scenes, Charlotte makes cupcakes in a Valentino blouse and Miranda (probably goes to work as a lawyer) in a Roland Mouret dress so expensive that you or I wouldn't even wear it to sleep.
Hollywood.com wonders why, with the economy still tight, they felt the need to go so over the top. Does it bother you? Should they have tried to reflect what modern-day women are going through right now? Or is this just the fun of the movie? source
Cool! Disney released three new trailers for Toy Story 3. Each trailer sets up a covert-operation briefing where the toys plan on escaping from Sunnyside Daycare where they've been sent after Andy goes off to college. Check 'em out here
Brett Michaels appeared on Oprah yesterday to talk about his brush with death. Michaels suffered a brain hemorrhage and is one of the lucky few to survive. He said his brush with death instantly reminded him of what's most important in life - namely family and friends. He said he asked for Gods help - "You gotta let me live through this," he said of his thoughts. "I've done a lot of rotten things. I'm asking for a break here." Watch a clip here

JOKE OF THE DAY
A newsboy was standing on the corner with a stack of papers, yelling: "Read all about it. Today: 50 people swindled! Today: 50 people swindled!"
Curious, a man walked over, bought a paper, and checked the front page. Finding nothing, the man said: "There's nothing in here about 50 people being swindled."
The newsboy ignored him and went on, calling out: "Read all about it. Today: 51 people swindled!"
