A couple big radio things happened today. One is client related, and one is ratings related. We'll leave it there. All I know is that you have to celebrate the victories because we all take plenty of lumps, right?
Long rehearsal!
I think many of you know that I'm also the television host of the lottery drawings in my state, and yesterday we had an extremely long rehearsal to prep for our brand new set. Our last set was extremely small and easy to manage. This one is huge and involves walking and talking at the same time. Who do they think I am, Superman? Sheez!
That's the weekday host going through the motions (I'm the weekend host). When we go live from this studio, the machines will be wrapped with the lottery logo, and the blue tarp will be pulled back.
I've been doing the lottery in my state for 6 years and it's been great. If you ever have the opportunity to do a little something on television, take advantage. Not only is it good extra income, but it's a fun challenge. Gives you new respect for television personalities.
This weekend!
I'll be fitting the desk into the closet. If you haven't been keeping up with my closet-to-production studio project, head here.
Around that...
I'll be heading out with Charlie to do a little geocaching.
If you've never heard of geocaching, it's basically a treasure hunt with a GPS. You get clues and coordinates from http://www.geocaching.com/, and then head out to search for something hidden in the woods. Best part is hanging with your son, the worst part is being chased out of the woods by a couple angry dogs.
In conclusion...
No prep today. You are the best, though, and we'll hook up on Monday.

Hey there, I welcome your feedback and comments, but will not tolerate jackass behavior. If that's what you're into, head over to YouTube. Thanks again for leaving a thought....
