The danger of buying online... Buying online is easy. Click, pay, and it's delivered to your front porch. And then it's stolen by thieves. Wait, what? Yep, police are seeing a huge spike in front porch package thefts this year. Although electronics are the most attractive items, thieves are grabbing everything from clothing to children's bicycles. Advice: If you're not going to be home, have a neighbor watch out for your package.

Black Friday according to Twitter

Who won the Black Friday war on Twitter? Forbes.com asked HootSuite CEO Ryan Holmes' to look which major stores most effectively used Twitter on the biggest shopping day of the year, and he says the prize goes to...ready for this?... Kohl's! Kohl's took the title over the way the company highlighted the positive feedback it received. Holmes said they responded and highlighted the feedback from customers, both good and bad.

Black Friday on Twitter: The Numbers

• The hashtag #blackfriday was used 522,150 times.
• Walmart had the most mentions of all the major brands, but only 59% of the mentions were positive
• Macy's, on the other hand, had an impressive 95% positive rating.
• Kohl's positive comments were at 92%, followed by JC Penny (88%), and Sears (54%).

Secrets of how to NOT get a ticket

According to a veteran NYC police officer, the key to getting out traffic violation is just to put yourself in the officer's shoes. 'Cops get killed on car stops," he says, so let the officer know you're not dangerous by doing the following:

• Make sure he can see everybody's hands -- this immediately lowers his blood pressure
• If it's nighttime, turn on the interior lights of your car.
• If it's daytime, lower the windows on your car and put your hands on the steering wheel. Once the officer is relaxed about his/her safety, they're more likely to be understanding.
• Don't play dumb if you know you screwed up.
• Be apologetic but don't admit to anything
• Crying only works if you're a woman -- a very attractive woman
• You can get away with a little speeding -- usually under 10 mph over the speed limit
