Black Thursday



Black Friday is getting pushed to Thursday again this year, and even earlier in the day. Last year, Walmart let people trample all over each other at 10pm Thanksgiving night. This year, they're moving the riots up two hours to 8pm as retailers try and grab more of a chunk of Black Friday shopping, which by the way, is expected to be down this year compared to last. Deals this year include:
  • An Apple iPad2 with Wi-Fi and a $74 Wal-Mart gift card for $399
  • A 32-inch LCD TV on sale for $148 (down from $288)
  • LG Blue-ray Disc player for $38
Walmart bought deep on the electronic items this year, and will sell them in three waves. The first at 8pm, the second at 10pm, and the third at 5am on Black Friday. If you're in line between 10pm and 11pm, you're guaranteed to get one of their three top discount deals (listed above.
