Did you know... 

...that some airlines reserve the right to force any MAN to switch seats with a woman if he's seated next to an unaccompanied minor?  A 31-year old male nurse on a Qantas Airline flight who sat next to a 10-year old unaccompanied girl was recently asked to switch with a woman.  He told The Age that he was "humiliated" by the switch.  To make it worse, the flight attendants thanked the woman for switching after the airplane landed, but said nothing to the man -- leaving him to feel as if he were guilty of something. 

Have there been cases where minors were molested on flights by men in the past?  Yep, more than a few times, but doesn't this assume that most men are predators?  

Personal:  I drove my 13-year old niece to the airport for a cross country flight yesterday, and grilled into her the importance of keeping her distance from guys that strike up conversation.  I'm a guy, too!  I love this rule... because there are a lot of creeps out there!
