On this day in 1986, Genesis went #1 with this song. Strange enough, their former lead singer was at #2 with what hit? Name the singer and hit.

joke of the day
A little girl was talking to her teacher about whales. The teacher said it was physically impossible for a whale to swallow a human because even though a whale is a very large mammal, its throat is very small. The little girl stated that Jonah was swallowed by a whale. The teacher reiterated that a whale could not swallow a human, it was impossible. The little girl said, "When I get to heaven I will ask Jonah".
The teacher asked, "What if Jonah went to hell?"
The little girl replied, "Then you ask him!"
There's No Crying in Baseball!
(drop this somewhere)
81% of a small sample of men (400) say it's too embarrassing to cry in public, unless it's over the birth of their child, then 76% would open the flood gates. Of course, that means 24% can't even crack a tear of joy over the birth of their child? Yikes!
Phones/Facebook: For men and women -- we all cry over something, right? What, without fail, makes you cry? Here are 5 phone calls to get it started...
Teens Trust Nobody With their Money
("greed is good")
Is it really any surprise that teenagers have little to no faith in Wall Street or banks? Imagine growing up in this recession and this political atmosphere, you might fall right in line with these results to a new survey
3/4's of high school students agree with this statement: "The stock market is rigged mostly to benefit greedy Wall Street bankers."
83% agreed wit this: "Banks are mostly interested in getting my money through hidden fees."
70% of high schoolers believe businesses try to "trick" them into spending more money.
The pessimism skews older, too, with 40% of 18 to 30 year olds saying they'll never feel comfortable investing in the stock market. That's despite the fact that the number of 20-somethings investing in stocks keeps growing thanks to 401-k's.
Text Ya Later!
The number of adults speaking on a mobile phone has dropped even more, a trend that's continued for years, leaving texting the most popular form of communication. The average person now sends 200 texts per month. This is a British study that also found adults spend 3.3 hours a month social networking on a PC or laptop. That's up from 3.1 hours 2 years ago.
Phones/Facebook: Demi Lovato recently admitted that she completely gave up her cell phone. She carry's around no form of communication. Her life is better because now she actually talks to people around her. Anyone go cold turkey? How long did it last?
That's What Friends Are For
(song drop: "That's what friends are for")
The great thing about having no friends is the money you save in a year! 19% of us say we'll spend $500 or more on gifts for their friends throughout the year. I can almost guarantee this 19% was made up entirely of women. Guys buy gifts for each other, but the gifts usually come in a pack of six -- to be shared. How much time do we get to spend with our friends?
1-15 hours - 47 percent
16 - 20 - 11 percent
21 - 30 - 11 percent
31 - 50 - 11 percent
51 or more - 13 percent
0 hours - 7 percent
Experience has taught me that 7% in that survey have two or more kids.
