Joke of the Day
A doctor taking care of his last appointment of the day gives this man a thorough exam and finds him in optimal health. As the man is going out the door, he had a heart attack and died. The doctor looks at the man and tells the nurse, “help me turn him around to it looks like he was just coming in.”
Women Spend $125-grand on WHAT?
A new survey found women spend $125-thousand on clothing in a lifetime. Even with that, 60% say they still struggle to find something to wear on a daily basis. 1 out of 10 women say they buy a new outfit or accessory every week during the middle of the day to wear for an event after work.
Stroller Ban!
This year's Comic-Con convention in San Diego has officially banned strollers from its event rooms. Comic-Con, if you're not familiar, is a giant nerd convention where middle-aged, out of shape comic book fans squeeze into super-hero costumes and collect free stuff all day. It's delightful, but they banned little kids in strollers. Why? Either the organizers wanted to save people the hassle from tripping over strollers, or save children from seeing their parents dress up like Princess Leia and Captain America.
Facebook/Phones: Where else would you LOVE to see a stroller ban?

Her dad, Ed, introduced her to powerlifting after watching her wale on the boys in her karate class. She now has a full gym in her basement. Watch the video:
Why the Heat Makes Us Cranky
It has been the hottest six months in U.S. history (mainland), and people are CRANKY! Just look around you -- at work, on the road, in the house -- people are cranky, and the reason is...IT'S HOT! Researchers at Northwestern University found that heat is associated with aggression and violence, and it's mostly because we have more trouble sleeping when we're warm. Dehydration during the daylight hours adds to the pain. What to do? Cool off. That's pretty much all you can do.
Phones/Facebook: Where's the best place around town to escape the heat?
The Top Three Rudest Things We Do at a Party
At a party, it's bad form when you...
3. ...arrive at a party with a gift in hand even though the invitation says "no gifts, please." You've officially just made everyone who followed the rules feel like a jerk.
2. ... leave them guessing. You never respond to the invitation, so they have no idea whether you're coming or not. Worse, you plan on showing up for an overnight visit without telling them what time you'll be there, and when you'll leave.
And the #1 rudest thing you can do at a party...
1. ...skip introductions! You want to introduce your friend to an acquaintance, but you've forgotten that acquaintance's name. It's better to fess up and say, "I remember meeting you, but I can't recall your name." Don't stand there pretending that these people don't need to be introduced.
