Joke of the Day
A bent-over old lady hobbled into a doctor's office. Within minutes, she came out again but miraculously, she was standing up as straight as could be.A man in the waiting room who had been watching her said in amazement; "My goodness, what did the doctor do to you?"
The old lady replied, "He gave me a longer cane!"
Are Your Jeans Ready For the Wash?
When do we need to really wash our jeans? Not as much as you may think, thank goodness! In fact, it may be good to keep some of your wardrobe away from the washer...Jeans: Overwashing can cause fading and fraying, so wear them several times before washing, and when you do, turn them inside out, use cold water, and line dry.
Dress Pants and Khakis: If you work in a climate controlled office, and change right after work, dress pants can be worn four or five times before hitting the washer. Khakis are more vulnerable to dirt, so treat them immediately after dumping coffee all over your lap using stain remover wipes
Skirts: Like dress pants, skirts can get a few wears before washing.
Blazers: Unless you're hanging out in the smoking area, blazers don't require much upkeep. Air it out by a window or spritz with laundry spray before putting it back in your closet
Intimates: Bras can go a few wears since there's no contact with the arm pits
PJ's: We sweat and shed skin cells at night... wash your pajamas.
Swimsuits: Salt and Chlorine will eat and stretch your swimsuit. Hand-wash in cold water and let air dry.
Tees, Tanks and Camisoles: Wash 'em. They're like underwear. Oh, and use hot water.

Getting Worse for Working Moms
Sobering study from Careerbuilder about working moms in 2012...and it's not pretty. A full quarter of working moms who had a child in the past three years did NOT take the full maternity leave allowed by their company.Even worse, 12% took two weeks or less! 40% were off six weeks or less.
There are many reasons moms cut their baby-time short including competitive and demanding job, and money. 39% of moms report being the sole financial provider for their household.
Phones/Facebook: Did you take your full maternity leave? If not, why? Did it affect your job performance?

TWW (Texting While Walking) BANNED!
The town of Fort Lee, New Jersey are clamping down on "dangerous walkers" by fining those caught walking and texting at the same time! The tickets cost the offender $85, and 117 have been issued in just a month. More on the story...Phones/Facebook: Okay, it's quite obvious, and I think we can all agree that texting while DRIVING is a dangerous proposition. But is big brother getting crazy? The government is cracking down on texting while we're on our feet? Is this ridiculous, or do you have a reason why it's a good idea?
This may be a good reason...

How Much Sleep Do Guys Get?
AskMen.com, a website for men, asked their readers how much sleep they get every night, and 56% report getting between 6 to 8 hours. 12% get more than 8 hours -- obviously the ones without children -- and 29% get four to six hours.Medical studies claim we need 8 or more hours to stay healthy.
We're obviously not listening to science because a another survey found 45% of us fall asleep somewhere other than our bed at least once a week.

- 7% at church
- 6% on public transportation
- 4% on the toilet

Please, Honey, Just Turn It Off
Today's millennial moms obviously have no shame after a new survey discovered that 12% of them use their smartphone during sex. Yep, while you're gettin' jiggy, guy, she's updating her Facebook status to "bored." Maybe that's a stretch, but WHAT THE HECK, MOM? Really, you're on the phone?Even more, 21% bring their smartphone to the toilet. This survey, from the Meredith Parents Network, proves that millennial moms (1977 to 1994), are consumed by media all day no matter where they are or what they're doing. Source
