Word is Heidi Klum and Seal are splitting up. Access Hollywood has a source saying she'll file for divorce. "They love each other very much, but they have had a very tense time in the last year." If true, they would've been married for 7 years. If you go where Chuck Norris goes, then you back Newt. Chuck endorsed Gingrich on Friday, which now explains Saturday.
The death toll from the capsized cruise ship off the coast of Italy is now at 12. The body of a woman was recovered Saturday and with 20 people still unaccounted for and hopes of finding anyone else alive all but gone.
Remember that couple that wouldn't reveal the sex of their baby because they didn't want him or her to live in a world ruled by stereotypes? Turns out the mystery child is a BOY and he is 5-years old. Sasha has grown up wearing clothes passed won from his brother AND sister. In fact, he wears a girl's blouse to school, and according to mom: "... at the moment he's not really bothered either way." (You know the producers of "Dancing With the Stars" are salivating for this one...)
A new study discovered something interesting yet depressing at the same time -- Facebook is making us sad! How? Because of all of those good-time pictures your friends post on their page. Ya know, the ones showing a smiling couple on the beach in Hawaii, or the laughing family at Disney World. The more fun the photos look, the more depressed viewers get about their own lives. Researchers found the more time we spend on Facebook, the more we think others have it better than we do.
How To Shop Online And Avoid Identity Theft
We heard last week that 24 million Zappos customer's had been hacked. Names, addresses and other personal information were lifted right from the online retailers database.Even with that chilling news, it's hard to think we would all stop shopping online. It's so convenient! So how can we do it safely? Easy -- just follow these 7 tips:
#1. Use a credit card instead of a debit card (credit cards offer you protection)
#2. Make sure you're on a secure site (look for the prefix "https" which means it is a secure site that encrypts Web traffic)
#3. Protect your password. (don't use the same password across different websites)
#4. Do quick research before buying from unfamiliar sites (search the site and look for words like "scam," "complaint," or "review.")
#5. Be wary of Wi-Fi (make sure your home network is WPA-encrypted. If you don't know what that means, ask your teenager.)
#6. Don't use PUBLIC Wi-Fi. (It's safe to use 3G or 4G, but don't use public wi-fi)
#7. Watch for phishing scams. (if your name was hacked recently, you may receive an email from the hackers looking for more information. Never give out sensitive information requested by email.)

Joke of the Day
When the mother returned from the grocery store, her small son pulled out the box of animal crackers he had begged for. Then he spread the animal-shaped crackers all over the kitchen counter."What are you doing?" his mom asked.
"The box says you can't eat them if the seal is broken," the boy explained."I'm looking for the seal."

I'm dead tired today...ya know why? Because I was up way too late last night wondering why I couldn't get my son's Lionel train working. It was bugging the crap out of me. After all, I had one when I was a kid! I ran that train like crazy! Why won't it work? This is where YouTube amazes me:Yep, that was me, the big dummy clipping the thing on the wrong way. It's now working. 4 1/2 hours of sleep later and I'm ready to tackle the day.
