More women than ever have entered the engineering program at Purdue University. Women now account for 26.1% of the first year class compared to 20.6% in past years. (For the engineering world, it's nice to see more women -- for male engineering students at Purdue, it's nice to see...women)

A Manhattan man is suing a 87-year old photographer for failing to record the last 15 minutes of his 2003 wedding. He wants the photographer to cover the cost of flying all the guests back to recreate the wedding, including the first dance and the bouquet toss. If he's successful, the only one missing will be his wife-- who flew back to Latvia years ago. (She said she wants to come back...to recreate leaving the jerk again) More here.

Interviews are stressful, especially if you're unprepared, or just an idiot. MSN Careers asked hiring managers to recall the biggest interview gaffes they've ever seen -- and then came up with a list of 4 interview killers to avoid:

Don't forget your people skills

--"An individual applied for a customer-service job, and when asked what he might not like about the job, he said, 'Dealing with people.'"

--"The applicant told me if she had realized it was our company, she wouldn't have shown up for the interview."

--"When asked by the hiring manager why she was leaving her current job, the applicant said, 'My manager is a jerk. All managers are jerks.'"

Don't focus on your needs over the employers

--"The applicant told me he really was not interested in the position, but he liked that we allowed for a lot of time off."

--"One individual said we had nice benefits, which was good because he was going to need to take a lot of leave in the next year."

Don't dress down

--"A person came to the interview in pajamas with slippers."
