Should You Lie About Being Unemployed?
A couple of interesting surveys about how relationships fare during tough economic times. The good news: We're seeking companionship. Online dating has exploded over the past year. Match.com saw 30% growth, even with a $35 monthly fee, and OkCupid.com, a free site, saw traffic double last year. The bad news: Women are not interested in dudes who are unemployed. 75% of women will NOT marry a guy who is "on the beach," shall we say.
So the question is this: Men: You're an unemployed guy who is REALLY interested in asking a certain girl out -- do you lie about your job status? Women: Why won't you consider marrying a guy who is umemployed? What if the economy was to blame and it wasn't his fault?
