Did You Know...

You may want to sit down for this shocking discovery. Research discovered the reason for long-term weight gain: Chips, fries and soda.

Wait, that's not all! They also said too much television and not enough exercise was also a factor.

NO WAY!

Non-obese American men and women were followed for 20 years. Over that time, participants gained an average of 16 pounds. The reason seems to be most strongly tied to eating potatoes, sugar-sweetened beverages, red and processed meats and refined grains (such as white flour).

Joke of the Day

The drill sergeant making his morning announcements to a group of newcomers in a training camp, stated: "Today, gentlemen, I have some good news and some bad news. First, the good news Private Peters will be setting the pace on our morning run.”

Men are Better Than Women!
...at networking. LinkedIn claims that men are better online networkers because, as Nicole Williams of LinkedIn explains, "women “can sometimes shy away from networking because they associate it with schmoozing or doling out business cards, when in reality, it’s about building relationships before you actually need them.” They found that even in the cosmetics industry, where women outnumber men, it's the men who are the savvier networkers.

Southwest is #1...again.
Overall we're not happy with the flying. Satisfaction has dropped by 1.5% and poor service, higher prices and baggage fees are to blame. Southwest, though, is the best of the bunch -- could their no baggage fee policy be the reason?
