Post Wedding Mysteries Answered
This just in: William and Kate are still married. Did ya watch the wedding Friday morning? Here are a few answers to questions everyone had --
Trees in Westminster Abbey?
Yep! Kate ordered more than 4 tons of foliage to create an English country garden setting at a cost of $83,335.
Why didn't Prince William watch his bride walk down the aisle?
Tradition. The groom is the last person to see his bride, and only after she's completed the long walk and is at his side, which is at least 4-minutes.
What did the Prince whisper to Kate?
Lip readers say he told her she looked beautiful. He then looked at his father-in-law-to-be and quipped "We were suppsed to have just a small family affair."
Why was the Prince wearing red?
William holds an honorary rank of Colonel of the Irish Guard and opted to wear an Irish Guard's officer uniform instead of his Royal Airforce uniform.
Hidden messages
Each bridesmaid had her name and the date of the wedding hand-enmbroidered into the lining of her dress. The bride and groom wrote their own prayers which was read by the Bishop of London during the ceremony. Each flower in the bride's bouquet had a special meaning. Lily-of-the-Valley represents the return of happiness, Sweet William stands for gallantry, Hycinth is for the constancy of love, Myrtle symbolizes marriage and love, and Ivy is for fidelity, marriage, wedded love, friendship and affection.

Gotta See This
Hey, ya know that party your husband went to last weekend? I found video... good, wholesome fun.
Did You Know...
...women can't sweet talk themselves out of a ticket in Fayetteville, NC! The Fayetteville Observer looked at traffic-stop data fro, 2009 to 2010, and found police issued warnings to females 30% of the time -- for men it was 31%.
When it came to speeding, men were warned to slow down 18.1% of the time, but police only issued warnings to women 15.6% of the time.
Women did do better than men in one category -- vehicle equipment violation (headlight out, for example). 68% of women got warnings compared to 61% of the time for men.

Joke of the Day
One day, Grandma sent her grandson Peter down to the waterhole to get some water for cooking dinner. As he was dipping the bucket in, he saw two big eyes looking back at him. He dropped the bucket and hightailed it for Grandma's kitchen.
"Now, where's my bucket and my water?" Grandma asked him.
"I can't get any water from that water hole, Grandma," cried Peter: "There's a big ol' alligator down there!"
"Now don't you mind that ol' alligator, Peter. He's been there for a few years now, and he's never hurt anyone. Why, he's probably as scared of you as you are of him!"
"Well, Grandma," replied Peter, "if he's as scared of me as I am of him, then that water ain't fit to drink!"
