The Weekend!

Today is National Workplace Napping Day, so if you'll excuse me... Today is also Grown-ups Day -- Question: When you were a kid, what couldn't you WAIT to do as a grown up!

What Do Desperately Wish People Would Stop Doing In Public?

According to blogger Sadie Stein, the absolute worst thing someone can do in public is... clip their nails. It's not just the clippings, but the sound of the nail being clipped that seems to get her goat.

So it got me thinking -- in your world, what do you wish some people would stop doing in public?

Don't get me started! #1 on my personal list would be spitting. The guy (and they're always dudes) who spits in public had parents who dropped the ball big time on this one. Worse: The guy that loudly brings something up before launching it onto the pavement.

#2 on my list would have to be the 'nose blower at the dinner table' person. Yes, there's nothing that goes better with a fine dinner at a fine restaurant than a table guest who clears out their nostrils with their cloth napkin. Worse: They're trying to talk to you at the same time.

Birthday Quiz

The first winner of the American version of Survivor, Richard Hatch, turns 50 today. Since winning $1-million from the show, he's spent a good deal of time in and out of jail for failing to pay the taxes he owes on that money. So where is Richard this morning: At home in Connecticut, in jail, or living in the Trump Tower?

Answer

Richard is waking up this morning.... IN JAIL. He's currently in the custody of the U.S. Marshals waiting to serve out his sentence for not paying taxes on his $1-million prize.

TMZ.com reported yesterday that Hatch wrote an open letter begging someone --- anyone --- to loan him $300-thousand so he can pay off his debt, avoid prison, and then sue the pants off CBS. Read that article here

A lady walked into a boutique and asked the sales lady "May I try on that cute dress in the window?"
The sales lady replied; "Sure, but wouldn’t you be more comfortable in a dressing room?"
