Today is National Blueberry Popover Day, Nametag Day, World Kidney Day, and Telephone Day where we celebrate Alexander Graham Bell's first successful phone message, "Mr. Watson, Come here!" His second successful message was "I think you have the wrong number." Wait a minute -- Wikipedia may be wrong on that one...

10 Bad Relationship Habits...
...to give up for Lent! If you're still searching for something to give up, pick a few of these from the Love Buzz blog
1 Saying "You always..." Speak in "I" statements when disagreeing. Don't try and tell your partner how he or she feels or what he or she does. You always do that! Oops...
2 Taking "I love you" lightly It's not just a way to end phone calls... say it loud and in-person.
3. Showering separately. Or at least, don't do it all the time.
4. Emailing so much. Maybe share your thoughts on paper? Write a haiku or knock-knock joke. Doodle. Check "Yes". When was the last time you looked at their handwriting?
5. Forgetting to say "please."
6. Creating distance when you go through a rough patch. Touch your partner's arms or face before bringing up a tough subject -- works more effectively than words -- then say what you need to say.
7. Complaining. Each day, tell your partner three things you appreciate about them.
8. Hyper-focusing on everything your man does wrong.
9. Putting off getting support if you're facing problems as a couple
10. Giving your partner what YOU want. Instead of assuming you know what your partner needs to feel loved, ask. Too often, we give our parnters what we think they want, because it matches what WE would want in the same situation.

Joke of the Day
Four friends spend weeks planning the perfect camping trip. Two days before the group is set to leave Rob's wife puts her foot down and tells him he isn't going. Rob's friends are very upset that he can't go, but realize there's little they can do to change her mind.
Two days later the three get to the camping site only to find Rob sitting there with a tent set up, firewood gathered and supper cooking on the fire.
"Dang man, how long you been here and how did you talk your wife into letting you go?" one of the friends asks.
"Well, I've been here since yesterday," Rob replies. "Yesterday evening I was sitting in my chair and my wife came up behind me and put her hands over my eyes and said 'guess who'?' I pulled her hands off and she was wearing a brand new see through nightie. She took my hand and took me to our bedroom. The room had two dozen candles and rose pedals all over and she had handcuffs and ropes on the bed! She told me to tie and cuff her to the bed and I did. And then she said, 'Now, you can do whatever you want.' So here I am."
