Happy 2nd day of the week!  Somebody started a brilliant holiday called National Refuse to Capitalize the First Letters in Your Name Day in honor of k.d. lang's birthday.  Of course, as we've become a text messaging nation, NOTHING is capitalized these day (UNLESS THE ENTIRE MESSAGE IS IN CAPS LIKE THIS!  THEN YOU FEEL LIKE THEY'RE SCREEEAMING AT YOU!)

Today is also Election Day which means we'll finally see the end to those horrible campaign ads.  That'll leave room for more important products -- like the ShamWow and Viagra!

Are texting and Facebook worse for teens than TV?

USA Today wonders if the hours upon hours teens spend on social networking websites may not be such a good thing.  

After all, we (their parents) spent hours upon hours watching television, and we turned out just fine!  Of course, we expect all problems to be wrapped up in 26 minutes, but beyond that, we're fine.  

So is Facebook, Twitter and texting bad?  According to a child psychologist -- not really.  Of course, it's bad when there's stalking and cyber-bullying, but it's no worse than watching TV.  

Research has found that the more time a kid spends in front of ANY screen, the worse they do in school, but the child psychologist in this article says if the work is done, then so what?  

So what of it?  Is Facebook getting in the way of your kid's life, or helping it?  Let's make it personal... is Facebook getting in the way of anything in your life?  Has anyone had to quit cold turkey?

What TV reunion would you love to see?

EW.com has a list of 28 TV reunions you want to see including Freaks And Geeks, Remington Steele, Quantum Leap, Sports Night, Full House, Moonlighting, Dawson's Creek, The Love Boat and The Fall Guy just to name a few.  

Who would you like to see get back together for an episode?  

I would love to see the cast of "Ed" get back together only to find out that Carol Vessey and Ed got divorced, and she moved on to marry some real estate dude who brags and brags about being in a "Modern Family."  Brilliant.

Top 10 American Idol finalist Chris Sligh is a daddy this morning.  His wife Sarah gave birth Halloween night in Nashville.  A 7lb, 12oz girl named Keira Lennon Sligh, and yes, Lennon is a nod to the Beatles.  

Ricky Martin will be on Oprah today talking about the day he revealed he was gay.  He says he first felt "numb" after sending the message, and then "relieved," and then he started to cry "like a little baby."  

People reports Charlie Sheen will file for divorce from his wife Brooke Mueller and will request joint custody of their 1-year old twin boys.  

TMZ reports Lindsay Lohan is using her 2-hours of Internet privileges on the weekends to apologize to friends.  She's reaching out to pals who tried to tell her she had a problem before seeking help.  

A Disney star is getting some serious help today for "emotional and physical issues she has dealt with for a long time," according to her rep.  Demi Lovato pulled out of the Jonas Brothers tour over the weekend and checked into a treatment center to deal with unspecified issues.  Family members tell People.com that Lovato has been coping with a troubled past which includes being bullied in school, eating disorders and cutting.  "Demi is taking control by getting help."  

The great voice that opened "Wheel of Fortune" is gone.  Charlie O'Donnell died over the weekend in Los Angeles.  He was 78.  No word on the cause of death.

PRIMETIME, BABY!

Look for most of primetime to be dominated by election coverage tonight.  ABC goes on at 9:30, NBC is on at 9, Fox is on at 9, while CBS is waiting until 10pm to begin coverage.  That is puzzling since the two lead up shows, NCIS and NCIS Los Angeles, and both repeats.
