"souleye" - Who is the guy that married Alanis Morrissette? Souleye? The two were dating just seven months before quietly getting married on May 22nd. Her new hubby is apparently a fast-paced freestyle rapper who has performed at festivals and has built up his own fan base. Morissette was previously engaged to Ryan Reynolds.

"helen thomas"- Helen Thomas, who has sat front row for presidential press conferences for as long as any can remember, is retiring. She decided to call it quits after making controversial marks about Israel. She was caught on video saying that Jews should "get the hell out of Palestine" and go back to Germany and Poland or the United States. It was a YouTube hit.

"I deeply regret my comments I made last week regarding the Israelis and the Palestinians," Thomas said in a statement. "They do not reflect my heartfelt belief that peace will come to the Middle East only when all parties recognize the need for mutual respect and tolerance. May that day come soon."

If your husband left and never returned, you have a friend -- Author and therapist Vikki Stark has created a website called RunAwayHusbands.com and is dedicating her time studying what she calls "Wife Abandonment Syndrome." She should know -- after returning from a business trip to her husband of 21-years, a man who she referred to as loving and attentive, he told her "it was over" and moved out. "I felt 100% secure in my marriage," she said. So she's now dedicating her life to helping other women who discover, with no warning, that their spouse wants out.

Through her research, she found many women who have gone through the same sudden and cold break-up. Examples:

Some husbands left text-messages or post-it notes stuck to the television before hitting the road
Others dropped the bomb during the most mundane moments -- like eating cereal or putting on socks.
One woman found her note sitting next to the grocery list on the counter
Another said she drove him to the airport for a business trip, kissed him goodbye, and he never came back. He got word through their son that he was on "an indefinite assignment" with his company.

GADGET OF THE DAY

The iPhone 4 was officially introduced to the world yesterday with 100 new features. The biggest changes are a higher resolution screen, a better battery, a 5-meg HD photo and video camera, a gyroscope for improved rotation sensitivity, and a thinn, more industrial look. Steve Jobs calls it the "thinnest smart phone on the planet." Another big addition is the front facing camera which will allow users to video chat with each other. Look for it on sale June 24th for $199 for a 16 gig and $299 for a 32 gig. Also on June 24th, the 8 gig iPhone 3GS will go on sale for $99 and the second generation iPhone 3G will be discontinued.
