A report says Amelia Earhart may have been eaten by giant Coconut Crabs. Experts think she crashed on the island of Nikumaroro in July of 1937 during her attempt to fly around the world. They believe she either died in the crash, or lived as a castaway before dying. Either way, they think her body was consumed by these giant crabs. Are they real? Yep, says Snopes.
