joke of the day
An elderly woman decided to have her portrait painted. She told the artist” Paint me with diamond earrings, a diamond necklace, emerald bracelets, a ruby broach, and gold Rolex." "But you are not wearing any of those things" replied the artist.
"I know," she said. "It's in case I should die before my husband. I'm sure he will remarry right away, and I want his new wife to go crazy looking for the jewelry."
Strike Three - YER OUT!
According to a new survey, 38% of relationships have endured infidelity of some kind. Of those, only 5% survived. It's not, however, because there wasn't an effort to save it. The study found that women will not only forgive one a cheater once, but TWICE! Six in 10 women would forgive two relationship 'errors,' meaning cheating, flirting, or romantic neglect.
Guys, on the other hand, can't handle a cheater. only 1 in 10 would stay with her if she cheated. 89% say cheating is the most difficult problem to recover from in a relationship.
The Best Stuff to Buy in September
September is big-ticket month! It's time to open the wallet to snag a good deal on bigger items, like:
Mattresses, beds and bath supplies -- Mattress retailers need to unload piled up inventory. Look for big sales.
Planes, bikes and cars. This is when you want to make airline reservations for the holidays. Auto dealers will be getting the 2013 models in soon, so look at last year's model for the best deal. The latest bikes are released in September, too, so you'll get a good deal on an older model.
Appliances. Washers, dryers, stoves, refrigerators -- save big now as retailers make room for the 2013 models.
Plants. Garden centers are ready to stock up on fall and holiday plants, so now is the best time to grab trees and shrubs.
Summer gear and lawn mowers. Any thing that is related to summer will be on sale
Seasonal produce. Your last chance is now to grab summer produce, like peaches, plums, nectarines, peppers, mangoes, green beans, lettuce, and tomatoes at low prices.
