Answer:  2 in a Room!

joke of the day

While on a road trip, an elderly couple stopped at a roadside restaurant for lunch. After finishing their meal, they left the restaurant and resumed their trip.

When leaving, the elderly woman unknowingly left her glasses on the table. And, she didn't miss them until after they had been driving about twenty minutes. By then, to add to the aggravation, they had to travel quite a distance before they could find a place to turn around in order to return to the restaurant to retrieve her glasses.

All the way back, the elderly husband became the classic grouchy old man. He fussed and complained and scolded his wife relentlessly during the entire return drive. The more he chided her, the more agitated he became. He just wouldn't let up one minute.

To her relief, they finally arrived at the restaurant and as the woman got out of the car and hurried inside to retrieve her glasses, the old geezer yelled to her, "While you're in there, you might as well get my hat."

Are "Work Spouses" Okay?

Should you have a 'work spouse?'  In other words, a close confidant of the opposite sex at work?  Is that okay, or does it threaten your at-home relationship -- here's what I discovered from YourTango.com.

Is it okay?

Kinda.  Their experts say it's natural to build alliances at work, but the danger comes your relationship at home.  If there are holes in the relationship at home, your work relationship could develop into an emotional affair.

Should you tell your partner about your work husband/wife?

Keep it from them may be a sign of bigger problems, according to the YourTango experts.  Of course, and this is my opinion, why would you even have to bring it up if there's nothing to worry about?

What should you tell your partner if he/she is jealous of your co-worker?

Dr. Jenn says to ask them what you can do to make them more comfortable.  If they're not comfy with you having drinks with that person, then maybe you shouldn't go to happy hour.  Dr. Walsh adds that it's all "about respecting boundries."

17 years of hunger

Pop quiz:  Women spend 17 years of their life (doing what)?

  • Trying to lose weight
  • Getting their hair done
  • On Facebook

Answer:  Women spend 17 years of their life TRYING TO LOSE WEIGHT!

Here's the math:  A survey found 90% of women in Britain have tried a diet.  The average woman will diet twice a year for about 7 weeks each time throughout her life.  Diet Chef found she loses 11 pounds each time -- which means she will lose her body weight 9.1 times over a lifetime.

If you manage to stick with a diet for a year or more, you have super powers, because only 1% of women can stick with a diet for a 12 month period.

Women said the #1 sign they needed to lose weight was when they stopped fitting into their clothes.

What are the top three incentives for shedding the pounds?

  1. Summertime
  2. Health reasons
  3. Weddings
