Joke of the Day

A widower who never paid any attention to his wife while she was alive now found himself missing her desperately. He went to a psychic to see if he could contact his late wife. The psychic went into a trance.

A strange breeze wafted through the darkened room, and suddenly, the man heard the unmistakable voice of his dearly departed wife.

"Honey!" he cried. "Is that you?"

"Yes, my husband."

"Are you happy?"

"Yes, my husband."

"Happier than you were with me?"

"Yes, my husband."

"Then Heaven must be an amazing place!"

"I'm not in Heaven, dear."

 We...Love...Cars

What's more pleasurable than buying a car?  Not much!  Not even buying a home!  Gio Insurance out of Australia found buying a car is more pleasurable than buying a new house, new technology, or even starting a new relationship.  Why?  Because it's within reach of most of us.  More

Battery Gulp!

If you have a kid, your life revolves around batteries.  It seems almost every toy they get these days involves inserting a battery so it can sing, buzz, roll, or walk.  So is it any surprise that the number of kids treated in emergency rooms after swallowing batteries has doubled over the past 20 years?

Most involve those little button batteries, about the size of a coin, found in toys, remote controls and hearing aids.

Don't waste any time if you think your kid gulped a battery, because doctors say the battery can create an electrical current which can burn a hole in the trachea or esophagus.  Fun!  Even very weak batteries can cause damage.

5 Things You’ll Learn About Your Boyfriend At Someone Else’s Wedding

Want to find out if your new relationship will last?  Take him along to your friend's wedding this summer!  Here are 5 things you can learn about him from a wedding:

  1. Is he responsible:  Did he plan the trip?  Get a gift? Reserve a hotel room?  Does he take charge?
  2. Is he an adult:  Did he get a tux (or nice suit) and act like an actual adult?  Did he talk with the elderly and use a napkin, for example?
  3. Can he dance:  Two left feet is not a dealbreaker, but it's something to keep in mind... the way someone dances tells you a lot about them
  4. Is he good with kids:  Did he dance with the flower girl, or freak out?
  5. Can you travel together:  Did he drive you insane on the airplane?  Can you get along when you're lost?  Basically you'll find out if his travel style vibes with yours.

Worst Reasons Ever to Get Preggers

Kelly Osbourne caught a case of baby-fever after her new niece, Pearl, arrived into the world, and she's now telling people what a great "mum" she will be.  Her biological clock is ticking, which, according to The Stir, is NOT a good reason to have a baby.  The worst on their list of seven is to keep a man.  Common sense, yes, but it happens.  Here's their list of really bad reasons to bring a little crumb cruncher into the world.

  1. To keep a man!
  2. For attention
  3. Because you think you have to
  4. Getting older
  5. For a boy or a girl
  6. Because your kids are growing up
  7. To miss work
