Today is International Bikini Day marking the debut of the two-piece swimsuit on this day in 1946 at a Paris fashion show.
From Answers.Yahoo.Com... "WHY?"
Personally, I don't wear bikinis because I don't like the feeling of walking around in a bra and underwear...but why do you wear them, do you think? Why do so many girls wear them, rather than a tankini or one piece? Is it to show off their body? Or maybe just because everyone else does it?
A few answers
- Part of it is to fit in, since all of my friends wear bikinis too
- I don't wear one because I want to show off my body, I wear my bikini because I find them really comfortable
- ... if a girl is proud of her body why not show it off?
- ...because everyone else does!
- ... a one-piece ends up feeling clammy and uncomfortable...
- Ever heard of tanning? Who wants a pale stomach and tan everything else.
- The real question is why not? Some of us like the style btw some girls don't care if their cought in bra nd underwear
- I work out and am very proud of my body why wouldn't I show it off? And it helps tanning also :)

Did You Know...
...that we have more regrets about our personal relationships than any other decision or life event! From a study by researchers at Northwestern University and the University of Illinois:
- 18% have regrets about romance
- 16% about family
- 13% about education
- 12% about money
- 9% about parenting
More women than men have regrets about relationships because, as the lead researcher put it, "women are typically charged with the role of maintaining and preserving relationships, so when things go wrong" they carry more guilt.
Men have more regrets about work or education.
