Today is Pebbles Day which celebrates the birth of Fred and Wilma's daughter on this date in 10,000 B.C. It's also International Dog Biscuit Appreciation Day, Inconvenience Yourself Day, Easy Divorce Day, Curling is Cool Day and National Banana Bread Day. Wow...too much to celebrate! I think I'll just eat a pound of banana bread and call it a day

Ladies, your parents won't do this for you... but your brother? He's such a good boy!

C'mon Home, Son!

A new study finds adult men are more welcome to return to the family home than daughters! What's the difference? Mom's say that their boys are better guests! They are more likely to pay rent, help with housework and listen to mom and dad's advice on career and love.

In the "Fly the Nest" survey, 58% of moms admitted to spoiling their sons, but only 35% said the same about their daughters. Get the rest of the story here

Oh, that's why you were acting that way at dinner! Here are everyday foods that affect you like drugs...

Forget drugs, you have food in the cupboard that delivers the same effects! A website put together a list of 10 which includes --
  • Chili Peppers for its capsaicin, a topical painkiller.
  • Turkey for its serotonin that sends you into sleepy land
  • Spinach for its magnesium which relieves stress.
#1 on this list, just in front of coffee, is NUTMEG! They say if you take massive doses of nutmeg, you'll start hallucinating! Several downsides, though -- the horrible vomiting and diarrhea, and it can kill you. So don't OD on nutmeg.

Did You Know...

...that a guy can bring back the memories of his ex-girlfriend by wearing her... her... um... jeans? Levi's is now offering up a pair called the "Ex-Girlfriend Jean," a skin-tight jean that, as their website puts it, reminds you of the girlfriend with great style.

This is just a nice way to say you like to wear women's jeans, isn't it? I mean, c'mon...

Joke of the Day

Fresh out of business school, a young man answered a "Help Wanted" ad for an accountant. He was interviewed by a very nervous man who ran a small business that he had started himself.

"I need someone with an accounting degree," the man said. "But mainly, I'm looking for someone to do my worrying for me. Your job will be to take all the money worries off my back."

"I see," the young accountant said. "And how much does the job pay?"

"I will start you at $85,000."

"$85,000!!!" the young accountant exclaimed. "How can such a small business afford a sum like that?"

"That," the owner said, "is your first worry."
