Answer

Our smartphone! It doesn't matter if it's an iPhone, Blackberry or Android, 1-in-5 of us can't live without 'em. The addiction is especially high amongst iPhone owners.
Another interesting finding -- if their smartphone fell in a public toilet, 57% would stick their hand in and fish it out!

Don't Fake It!

New research found fake smiles at work actually worsens a person's mood and even slows productivity.
"Smiling for the sake of smiling can lead to emotional exhaustion and withdrawal and that's bad for the organization," according to a Michigan State researcher.
This is tough for bank tellers and others who work closely with customers and are told they ALWAYS have to look cheery. The effect is deeper for women who fake it more than men (make your own joke here). The solution -- be genuinely happy by thinking of an upcoming holiday for a memorable family occasion.

The plumber replied: "I agree! I didn't either when I was a surgeon. That's why I switched to plumbing."
