How about to Captain Awesome? Oh, I'm sorry, that's already taken. Douglas Allen Smith Jr was granted permission by a judge recently to change his name to Captain Awesome. He was inspired by the character on the NBC show "Chuck," Dr. Devon "Captain Awesome" Woodcomb.
The judge even gave him permission to sign his name as a right arrow, a smiley face, and a left arrow. His bank, though, refuses to accept the signature. Don't they know who he is? He's CAPTAIN AWESOME, MAN!
