Today is beyond important. It's Veterans Day. A day to say thank you to those that have served, and remember those that made the ultimate sacrifice.

The Veterans Day National Ceremony is held each year on November 11th at Arlington National Cemetery . The ceremony commences precisely at 11:00 a.m. with a wreath laying at the Tomb of the Unknowns and continues inside the Memorial Amphitheater with a parade of colors by veterans’ organizations and remarks from dignitaries. The ceremony is intended to honor and thank all who served in the United States Armed Forces.

"Design Star" judge Vern Yip and his partner are expecting baby #2, according to People.com. Yip and his partner are using a surrogate and already know the sex of the baby -- but won't share it with the rest of us.

The woman that slept with a very married John Edwards, and then later had his baby, denies she flew off to Los Angeles to "hook up" with Matt LeBlanc and John Cusack. Rielle Hunter's spokesperson says the National Enquirer story is untrue and "Rielle has not been to Los Angeles in two years." Of course, the National Enquirer was the publication that broke the story of a Hunter/Edwards affair.... just sayin'.

Also setting the record straight is Demi Lovato's spokesperson who says Demi is "not in treatment for drug or alcohol addiction" but for "emotional and physical issues she has battle throughout her life."

Mel Gibson and Oksana Grigorieva met in court yesterday to argue child support issues, and Mel was ordered to pay $60-grand in back pay. Mel held out on the $20-grand in monthly payments because he wanted to deduct the $6-thousand a month he's forking over for the house Grigorieva and her mother are currently sharing. The judge said nope -- you gotta pay for both.

Spotted -- Billy Ray Cyrus showed his face for the first time at the CMA Awards since filing for divorce from his wife Tish on Oct. 26th. Rumor is she was having an affair with Brett Michaels. Brett denies the charge.

Those that grew up watching the Sally Jessy Raphael talk show and always wanted to know why she wore those hideous red glasses -- she explained the reason to Oprah yesterday... "It's all they had for $19.95." Oprah chatted with her former rivals Phil Donahue, Ricki Lake, Geraldo Rivera and Montel Williams on her show yesterday.
