Ever been in trouble with your boss for something you posted on Facebook?

A Buford City, Georgia school bus driver claims she was shown the door over something on her Facebook page.

Michele Threlkeld wasn't told exactly WHY she was terminated, but she believes it has something to do with an incident last March where she linked a newspaper article to her Facebook site about the school's decision to install artificial turf on the football field.  It was a hot topic in the community, and she added this personal comment to the link:  "Today's humor."

The next day she was ripped a new one by the superintendent who said she embarrassed him and the district.  She was told to remove the post and she did.  A few months later she was fired.

She's now suing the district for violating her right to free speech.

Questions:
- Why does the school think this woman has so much influence?
- Do you suspect your bosses check over your Facebook page?  Does that bother you?
- Ever been busted over anything you posted?

Critical advice if you're going to 'shack up':
Marriages plunged to an all-time low in 2009, yet the number of couples living together jumped by 13%.  So if you're in the 'try it before you buy it' phase, here are some tips to help you survive the first year:

1. Bite the bullet and define the situation:  What kind of commitment is this? Are you building toward a future together or simply trying to save money? And if the latter, are you going to be monogamous? How will you describe your arrangement to friends and family?

2. Have the money talk: Sit down as soon as you can, and make a budget. Decide who pays for rent, groceries, entertainment—everything you can think of.

3. Consider a cohab agreement. A legal document can certainly make things easier if you do break up. For example, who gets the furniture? Who can decide whether to sell it? What if one person paid for a new car and the other covered groceries—how to get the food expenses back?

4. Assign jobs:  For each task, both of you should indicate whether you "like," "don't mind," or can't stand" doing it. Now compare your two lists and divvy up the chores.

5. Practice the C word. That would be compromise.
