On Friday, the CEO of Hewlett-Packard, Mark Hurd, resigned after allegations he sexually harassed an H-P marketing contractor between 2007 and 2009.  The contractor's name is Jodie Fisher, now an actress who recently appeared in the reality TV show "Age of Love."  Hurd quit after the company found out he submitted inaccurate expense reports intended to hide his relationship with Fisher.  Fisher claims there was no "relationship" and she settled her complaints privately with Hurd.  She wishes "Mark, and his family and H-P the best."  Isn't that nice?

Hunter Mahan claimed his third PGA Tour victory by taking the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational over the weekend.  He earned $1.4 million bucks and a spot on the U.S. Ryder Cup team.  Oh, and he beat Tiger Wood by 30 shots.

The West Allis fire department had to rescue 150 people from a fair ride last Thursday night at the Wisconsin State Fair.  The Sky Glider trapped more than 150 people at 8:30 after a power surge knocked out the ride's motor.  The last riders weren't evacuated by rescuers until after 11 p.m.  No injuries were reported. go

  • A North Carolina woman is accusing Fantasia Barino of having an affair with her husband.  Paula Cook claims Antwaun Cook started seeing Barrino in August of 2009.  She claims the two recorded their encounters and Barrino had his last named tattooed on her upper left shoulder.  Mrs. Cook wants custody of her two kids and wants him to pay child support.  source

  • British pop singer Robbie Williams got hitched over the weekend to American actress Ayda Field.  The ceremony took place at his Beverly Hills mansion in front of 75 guests.  source

When "The Bachelor" concluded, we were saved with a new season of "The Bachelorette."    That ended last week, so what now?  We watch, yes, "Bachelor Pad" tonight on ABC.   They pull the most memorable contestants from past shows together to live under one roof.  19 "unforgettable" men and women sleep in bunk beds and compete for cash and prizes.  Oh, and there may be some hooking up, too.
