OH MY!
You've got to check out the picture of a guy in China caught cheating on another man's wife. The hubby came home early, catching the two in the act. The cheater, not having time to grab his clothes, climbed out of the window naked. A neighbor caught this precious moment and posted it online: http://tinyurl.com/yjlqy7p
ONE AT A TIME
On the brink of elimination, the Philadelphia Phillies extended their world series life to another game by beating the NY Yankees last night 8 to 6. This forces a return to NYC.
PERSONAL CHALLENGE
Former NBA forward Brian Grant announced that he has been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. He began having tremors in his left hand last summer, and was diagnosed in January with "young onset Parkinson's." He's consulted with two other well known Parkinson's sufferers, Michael J. Fox and Muhammad Li, and has implemented several lifestyle changes. Grant's NBA career took him through Portland, Sacramento, Miami, Phoenix and Los Angeles.
I'M SO DRUNK!
A woman, so concerned about the safety of the general public, called 9-1-1 to report herself as a drunk driver. "I don't want to hurt anybody. I'm drunk," she told the 9-1-1 dispatcher in Neilsville, Wisconsin. The dispatcher told the woman to pull over and wait for police. She said she had been drinking all night long.
HERE'S A SUCKER AND MY RING
A woman in Terrace Park, Ohio gave a Trick-or-Treater more than just a Snickers...she tossed in her diamond ring. It was an accident, mind you, and she hopes whoever has it in their bag will return it. (Can't you just picture a little kid finding the ring and throwing it out because it's not as pretty as the giant M&M's.)
THIS IS FUN -- AHHHHH!
A passenger enjoying a ride on a jet accidentally ejected himself 320-feet into the air before floating safely to the ground. The guy was flying with a friend who's an air force pilot when he accidentally grabbed the ejection lever while trying to brace himself. The Air Force was called in to rescue the guy after his fall 80 miles south of Cape Town, South Africa.
CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST -- THRU A STRAW!
I don't know if this will be an option on PriceLine, but the first hotel in space is set to open in 2012. The Galactic Suite Space Resort will cost 4.4 million dollars for a 3-night stay, which also includes an 8-week training course on a tropical island. While there, you'll see the sun rise 15 times a day and travel around the world in 80 minutes. ("look kids, there's Big Ben....there's Parliament...")
